Terms and Conditions

  • DELIVERY POLICY
  • We will endeavour to deliver all items ordered within 14 days of your order being placed. If there is a delay for any reason you will be contacted via email to inform you of the delay.
  • CANCELLATIONS
  • A consumer buyer shall have the right to cancel any contract for goods made in accordance with these Terms and Conditions within fourteen working days from the day after delivery of the goods.
  • Cancellation of the contract can be effected by service of the Cancellation Notice which is obtained by contacting customercare@footballbikes.com referencing your wish to cancel in the subject box, we will then send you the cancellation notice which must be signed on behalf of the buyer and delivered either by fax to 01625 440698 or by first class post to the Company's Head office.
  • If a Notice of Cancellation is received by the Company the consumer buyer shall become liable to return the goods to the Company forthwith, to such address as directed by the Company preferably in their original packaging (and without having been installed or used) and at the consumer buyer's sole expense.
  • If the consumer buyer fails to return the goods within 14 days of the cancellation of the contract, the Company shall be entitled to collect the goods from the consumer buyer and to recover any direct costs involved in such collection from the consumer buyer.
  • The Company shall effect a refund of any monies owing to the consumer in respect of the goods within 30 days from the date of cancellation of the contract. Such a refund will be subject to any set of monies to which the Company is entitled set out within these terms and conditions.
  • Goods delivered to the buyer may be returned to the Company preferably in original packaging (packaging must be adequate for returning by post etc) and without being installed or used for credit within 14 days from the day after delivery of the goods.
  • The buyer confirms that he shall comply with any or all rules relating to installation of the product concerned and fully accepts that any loss which results from forced, misdirected, inappropriate or unqualified installation shall not be accepted by the company.
  • JURISDICTION
  • This agreement shall be interpreted in accordance with English Law and industry custom and practice, and English courts shall have sole jurisdiction in respect of any dispute arising there from. In respect of Internet sales, jurisdiction or the agreement shall be with English Law and it shall be deemed that any agreement is made in Macclesfield, Cheshire, irrespective of any rule of contract dictating otherwise.
  • PRIVACY POLICY
  • We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 . We will collect any information given at the time of the ordering process only to enable us to input and process your order.None of this data is retained or passed onto any third parties.
  • When you pay for goods your details are passed through the Paypal system purely for payment processing and anti-fraud purposes, for your protection.None of this financial data is stored or retained by Soccer Bikes Ltd or www.footballbikes.com

    Returns

    In the unlikely event you need to return anything to us, please send an e-mail to our customer care department,customercare@footballbikes.com or please telephone 01625 616854.
    Please put as much detail as possible in the e-mail in case it is possible to resolve the problem to your full satisfaction without returning the bike. If it is necessary to return the bike we will e-mail you a returns number. We ask that you include a copy of this e-mail with the returned bike.
    Please do not return any item without first contacting our customer care department for a returns number on 01625 616854
    If any goods are returned owing to an error on our part, we will gladly refund your postage charges.
    If any goods are returned unwanted or incorrectly ordered by you, we will either exchange or refund (subject to a 15% restocking fee) provided that all goods are returned in a perfect, saleable condition within 7 days. However, no carriage refunds can be given.
    If any goods are returned which you feel are faulty and unrepairable, and covered by the manufacturer's warranty, these must be returned to us for inspection, together with your purchase receipt. If it is found to be a genuine fault of manufacture (not accidental damage, misuse, abuse, neglect, normal wear and tear, something that can be adjusted, or a part that can be changed), we will usually either repair or replace* it free of charge. In some cases we may offer a full refund. Your standard postage costs will usually be reimbursed, but we will not reimburse any additional postage costs you paid for services such as priority delivery or delivery outside of mainland UK.
    If any parts on the bike are faulty, or develop a fault during the 12 month guarantee period, we will send out replacements free of charge, so long as they are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Any labour/fitting charges are the responsibility of the customer.
    If any goods are returned claiming to be faulty which we regard as not being covered by the manufacturer's warranty, we will contact you to inform you of this. In this event, you will be liable for all postage costs.
    When you receive your bike or bikes, it is important that you inspect them before signing for the delivery. If you are suspicious that the goods are damaged, or the box containing the goods looks badly damaged, then you should refuse delivery. In this event, do not sign for the goods and please contact us immediately (3 working days maximum) so that we can resolve the situation with our courier. Another bike will be sent out to you as soon as possible. If you sign for the goods and subsequently find that the goods are damaged it makes it harder for us to deal with your complaint.
    It is important that all original packaging is kept until you are satisfied with the bike or bikes and are sure that they will not need to be returned. Couriers will not accept a bike if it is not in its original packaging.
    * replacement goods will only be sent where the fault is deemed to have occured within a reasonable time period.
    IMPORTANT NOTES

    • All postage costs relating to the returning of goods will be the responsibility of the buyer (except when the goods are either faulty or incorrect). We only offer a collection service for warranty claims within 28 days of the delivery date. Bikes will only be collected if they are enclosed in their original box.
    • If a part is missing, damaged or broken, there is usually no need to send the whole bike back. Contact us and we will send any item(s) to you free of charge the next working day (whenever possible).


    These statements do not affect your statutory rights.
